Patrick Kinyatta Malonza – Mwingi, Kenya

“Towards the Conservation of Snakes and Reduction of Snake Human Conflict in Mwingi Area in Kenya”

Patrick’s project involves running awareness campaigns in Kenya to educate community members about snake conservation and mitigate snakebite incidences.

Helping Hands in Snake Safety – Mfuwe, Zambia

“Helping Hands in Snake Safety”

Helping Hands in Snake Safety’s project involves the training of snake handlers across Zambia and creating outreach programs for schools regarding snake conservation and education about snakebite.

Julián Rojas Morales – Department of Caldas, Colombia 

“Natural history and conservation of the critically endangered snake, Dendrophidion boshelli, Dunn 1944”

Julián’s project involves research on the natural history and ecology of the snake Dendrophidion boshelli and use it as a flagship species to conserve other snakes in the Department of Caldas in Colombia. They will also create education programs about the conservation of snakes within the area.
