- Save The Snakes proudly supported 10 vital snake conservation projects across the globe. These projects were led by our dedicated Conservation Partners and our 2024 Save The Snakes Grants Recipients. Since 2017, Save The Snakes has supported an impressive total of 40 projects in 20 countries, demonstrating our global commitment to protecting these incredible creatures.
- Save The Snakes reached an estimated 40,000 Californians at 45 engaging and educational community outreach events, including our third annual Sacramento Snake Festival. These events provided vital information about snake ecology, conservation, and safety, fostering greater understanding and appreciation for these often-misunderstood reptiles.
- Save The Snakes actively participated in the scientific community this year, presenting cutting-edge research at esteemed symposiums such as The Wildlife Society – Western Section’s Snake Symposium in California and the World Congress of Herpetology in Borneo. These presentations highlighted our commitment to advancing snake conservation science and informing effective conservation strategies.
