Save The Snakes is dedicated exclusively to snake conservation and human-snake conflict mitigation. Together with our worldwide network of snake conservationists, our mission is to protect snake populations around the world through education and community outreach to create a harmonious relationship between humans and snakes.
Our Mission and Purpose
Founded in 2017, Save The Snakes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 82-2680134) located in the USA. We steer and support snake conservation efforts through a community of passionate wildlife conservationists, which consists of our International and USA-based Team Members, Board of Directors, and Advisory Committee. We empower our dedicated Conservation Partners and other snake conservationists who implement critically important snake conservation efforts around the world. Together we work globally to promote our mission and foster support for snake conservation. While our organization was originally established in Florida, the Save The Snakes International Headquarters has relocated and settled in Sacramento, California.
