Description

Save The Snakes is proud to offer the Snake to Schools program to address human-snake conflict in the Sacramento and surrounding communities in Northern California. This program aims to teach school children and community members about the role of snakes in our ecosystems, engage with them to understand why snakes are important and educate them about how to safely coexist with snakes. The overall goals of the Snake to Schools program are to successfully educate communities and schoolchildren about snakes found in the Sacramento area, which will build awareness and understanding of snakes, reduce snakebite, and lessen conflict between humans and snakes.
