Please join Save The Snakes for our inaugural fall fundraiser, Snakes Under The Stars, on October 5, 2024 at the Snake Conservation Center in Sacramento, CA.
At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with Save The Snakes Board Members, Volunteers, Venomous Snake Training Instructors and other passionate snake enthusiasts. Additionally, we will celebrate seven years of our organization’s international wildlife conservation efforts. Join us and support the global snake conservation work of Save The Snakes!
Sacramento: Save The Snakes is hosting an event to raise awareness and funds for our vital snake conservation efforts. “Snakes Under the Stars” will be a night of captivating encounters with these often misunderstood reptiles, all in support of our nonprofit organization.
The event will feature a variety of activities. Guests can expect to:
- Tour the Snake Conservation Center: Learn about the snake conservation programs of Save The Snakes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to snake conservation.
- Meet and Greet with Snakes: Get up close and personal with a variety of snake species, learning about their unique characteristics and behaviors.
- Educational Presentations: Experts will share fascinating insights into the world of snakes, including their ecological roles, conservation challenges, and the importance of protecting them.
- Live Auction: Contribute to the important snake conservation efforts of Save The Snakes and come home with a memorable experience.
- Delicious Food and Drinks: Indulge in a delicious meal and refreshing beverages while mingling with fellow snake enthusiasts.

Proceeds from Snakes Under the Stars will go directly towards Save the Snakes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of snakes worldwide. Funds will be used to support various initiatives, including:
- Education and Community Outreach: Raising awareness about the importance of snake conservation and dispelling myths and misconceptions.
- Research and Monitoring: Conducting research to better understand snake populations and their needs around the world.
- International and Local Programs: Support the goals and efforts of Save The Snakes and our global network of Conservation Partners.
