Tiffany May is a Field Conservation Supervisor for the San Francisco Zoo, where she works on headstart programs with San Francisco garter snakes, Yosemite toads, California-red legged frogs, and other threatened amphibian species. She served as a Biological Science Technician for Yosemite and Olympic National Parks as well as with USGS in Southern California. She has worked as a scientific aide at CDFW, managed a disease ecology lab at the University of Nevada, Reno, has worked in environmental education, and taught labs as a Teaching Assistant for SF State. She is co-founder of HERpetology et. al, an organization supporting women and gender minorities in herpetology. Tiffany holds a masters in Integrative Biology from SF State, a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She also did graduate studies in Medieval archaeology in Budapest, Hungary and studied technical theatre at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.
